Front-End Developer
at Noctem July 2021 to Present
At Noctem, I have been working on both a single page web app for clinicians and our patient facing mobile app using Angular and Ionic.
As the primary front-end developer, I have had a wide range of responsibilities here such as
- Single-handedly overhauled the UI of the Angular application, leading to a 15% increase in patient satisfaction
- Single-threaded front-end SME who interfaced with all internal business groups for developing new features, product demos, and establishing an Agile workflow
- Worked closely with our UX designer, on feasibility of designs and was responsible for providing estimated development timelines
- Conducted multiple user interviews with clinicians and patients and implemented app improvements based on user feedback.
- Proactively increased developer productivity by refactoring the project to follow Angular best practices
Angular Developer
at DaVita May 2018 to July 2021
At DaVita, I have been contributing to a project known as CWOW - "Centers Without Walls". CWOW is a single-page application built with Angular on the front-end. CWOW will be used by DaVita clinicians in the thousands of dialysis centers across the country.
I began as a CSS Intern and within a few months, transitioned to an Angular Developer. While working here in an agile environment, I had several responsibilities
- Translating complex business requirements into clean, efficient, and well tested code
- Integrating RESTFul API's with the front-end application, and displaying and updating data using Angular's two-way data binding
- Resolving defects in the project, while tracking progress and updating defect statuses in JIRA
- Collaborated with other developers, project managers, SCRUM Masters, and QA team members daily to assess progress and address blockers
